The path starts from the center of the spiral ... In the middle of a whirlpool the man is prey to confusion, fears, doubts, uncertainties. Then slowly the awareness clears the path and you exit the spiral. In the second part of the symbol: observation leads to the understanding that there are some things that bind us in vicious circles. It seems to proceed forward, but it comes back. As a sort of curse: when one has the impression of having understood, here it seems that the events show us just the opposite. This continuous observation, however, brings new light: the more we observe, the more this paradoxical zigzag part is reduced, and gradually we reach a straight line. The straight line represents the definitive understanding ... At this point it takes just a little courage to dive. At the end of the line there is a ravine (the space between the end of the line and the dot). Definitive understanding in fact is nothing other than the certainty that everything is mystery and that nothing can therefore be understood and controlled. You can only live ... letting yourself go into the immense ocean without certainties of existence. (from: divinetools-raja.blogspot.com.)
