The same people who knew you growing up are always the same people behind the gun. But a stranger who sees your progress will always support you from day one ! 💯💯💯

Successful women shouldn't marry down. People ask; what do I mean by that? I mean just that. Successful women shouldn't marry down. In every case i have encountered this scenario, the woman always ends up feeling disappointed, dissatisfied or feeling cheated. A woman needs a leader, a visionary , a comforter and a guide. She needs a hero and a knight in a shining armour. What happens in our society today is that due to the enormous pressure directed at young people to get married, a lot of women end up settling for what's easy to get. So they marry a dead beat of a guy who offers good sex or has the appearances of hype but can not meet the woman's most pressing needs. Picture this. A woman who is a smart and successful medical doctor, lawyer , qualified accountant, sales manager or successful entrepreneur may decide to marry down. By that i mean, she may marry a man who; -makes less money than her - is less educated than her - is less prayerful than her - is less ambitious than her - is less stronger than her - or has low emotional maturity than her But, 1. what would happen on the day she needs the man to cater to her emotions? The man who is not emotionally mature will not be able to cater to the woman's emotions. 2. What would happen in the times when she needs to have an intellectual conversation with her husband? The man who is less educated will not be able to rise to her level. 3. What would happen when she wants to share the plan she has to get more education or start new a business with her man? The man who is less ambitions wont celebrate with her. Matter of fact, he will feel intimidated and inferior to her. 4. What about when she wants to pray? The man who is spiritually lost won't be able to stand with her in prayer. 5. What about when she needs her man to spoil her with a gift? The man who isn't financially successful will feel like she is being too demanding. What would happen in all these scenarios, is that the woman would end up being the loser. In almost every case, she ends up feeling disappointed. Definitely, there are exceptions to this. In every statistical probability , there are outliers. Some partnerships between a successful woman and an average man may yield success. But that is just what they are, exceptions! But we all know how the majority end up!!!! I dont believe that women are happy when they marry beneath their status. Neither have I found the women that married beneath their status more fulfilled. The majority feel betrayed, unfulfilled and dejected. So inspite of all that society is teaching today; that women must settle for what's available, I maintain that successful women shouldn't marry down unless they are ready to get disappointed. #SeeYouAtTheTop
