In 2020, I hope our ideas of #BlackExcellence expand beyond our university degrees, "good" jobs we’ve acquired or taking photos inside aeroplanes. I hope we will learn to understand that overcoming a white supremacist and imperialist agenda, will require us to start our our own businesses and to hire our own children.
