Mohenjo-Daro - Pakistán Known as the Mound of Death, it was one of the most advanced cities during the ancient era of Indus Valley civilization. Urban planning and engineering show the advance of this population. It was built in 2600 B.C., abandoned in 1900 B.C., and discovered in 1922, and although it is protected by UNESCO, it remains an easy prey to erosion and the passage of time that destroys it.
