Today is the 50th anniversary of legendary Woodstock Music Festival, held August 15- 18 1969. Billed as "an Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music", it was also referred as the Bethel Rock Festival or the Aquarian Music Festival and of course became the key event of the main counterculture generation! When I was a teenager I used to watch the official VHS of the event every time I came back from school (especially Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana, Canned Heat, Joe Cocker and The Who).
