Today in Italy is Father's Day! The "father of guitar", was probably an Egyptian who lived during the time of the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, Hatshepsut. Har-Mose was the singer who played such a three stringed instrument, that was actually a lute... The Italian word for parent, is "genitore", which also means "he who generates, or has generated: the Father". Happy Father's Day to all of the physical parents and to those who generate ideas all over the world! 🌬👼🇪🇬 In the picture: Lute and double pipe players from a painting found in the Theban tomb of Nebamun, a nobleman of the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom, c. 1350 BC.

Feeling proud to be Italian for the prompt measures actualized by my government to tackle Coronavirus and for my people able sacrifice. Expressing my gratitude to anyone working in the medical field, still able to guarantee a supreme standard, despite the huge pressure and financial cuts of the latest years! 🩺🇮🇹🤟 Photo by Marcello Merenda, graphics by Fabio Cicala
