Strawberries The NGO Environmental Working Group (EWG) states that this fruit contains up to 20 different pesticides, which causes almost 90% of the production of this food to show signs of unhealthy chemical residues. The same applies to other red fruits such as cherries. 6. Tomatoes Tomatoes are products that cannot be missing in any salad, but once they are ripe, many pesticides are added to them. Unfortunately, tomatoes have such a thin skin that chemical residues remain on the fruit even after peeling. That is why it is best to take organic tomatoes.
