Some important information on arrival in the Czech Republic
Come in Austria per viaggiare nelle autostrade della Repubblica Ceca esiste un bollino: quello da 10 gg costa 310 CZK (circa 12 €). Il mancato acquisto può comportare una multa fino a 15.000 corone.
Passato il confine Slovacco, sempre percorrendo l’autostrada, trovate uno spiazzo di sosta (ex zona doganale) dove potete comprare il bollino, attenzione!!! Comprate in euro solo il bollino, non cambiate altra valuta il cambio è altamente sconveniente! Se volete fare rifornimento, bere o mangiare qualcosa usate sempre una carta di credito almeno fino a Praga.
Più sotto le indicazioni per avere un cambio giusto senza commissioni dal nostro amico Ahmed. Lo conosco da anni e potete dire che vi manda Roberto (Re Gourmet) sarete trattati al meglio.
As in Austria, there is a standard rate for traveling on motorways in the Czech Republic: the 10-day one costs CZK 310 (about € 12). Failure to purchase can result in a fine of up to 15,000 crowns.
After crossing the Slovak border, always following the motorway, you will find a parking area (former customs area) where you can buy the stamp, be careful !!! Buy only the sticker in euros, don't change another currency the exchange is highly inconvenient! If you want to refuel, drink or eat something, always use a credit card at least until Prague.

I have to make a comment about it; in most of our Europe the motorways are paid (routes or stamps) and are quite smooth and in good condition, in other words passable. From the Slovak border about 100 km from Prague the highway route is a real disaster. Holes, endless work in progress, detours, queues and slowdowns.

Uscite dalla fermata metro Mustek e vi trovate davanti all’ufficio cambio del nostro amico Ahmed, cambiate il necessario e siete pronti per la passeggiata in centro. Praticamente qui vi trovate tra piazza Venceslao (Vaklaske Namesti) e tutta la zona storica pedonale, cinque minuti a piedi e siete davanti al famoso Orologio in piazza della città vecchia (Staromeske Namesti).
Exit the Mustek metro station and you are in front of our friend Ahmed's exchange office, change what you need and you are ready for a walk downtown. Practically here you find yourself between Wenceslas Square (Vaklaske Namesti) and the entire pedestrian area, five minutes on foot and you are in front of the famous Clock in the Old Town Square (Staromeske Namesti).
Dopo queste info di base per non essere presi in giro dai locali, lo sappiamo bene che nelle città turistiche di grande affluenza turistica i furbetti ci marciano alla grande, senza andare lontano vedi i prezzi a Venezia, tutto il mondo è paese.

Bene cominciamo dalla merenda perfetta in qualunque momento del giorno, e vi consiglio di non ordinare mai una birra piccola sarete trattati da signorina, qui si beve solo un boccale grande, buonissima e costa veramente poco.
