Takouba - Épée Touareg
Le mot takouba est une version anglicisée du tamasheq takobi terme qui signifie tout simplement, l'épée. Le mot se trouve aussi chez les Haoussa et Fulani.
Les racines, les origines et les influences qui ont conduit à la forme de la takouba sont à la fois complexes et quelque peu incertaines.
Chez les Touareg, la takouba est portée plus comme témoignage du patrimoine et pour jouer un rôle dans diverses manifestations traditionnelles telles que les danses de l'épée que comme arme..

Tendé, un instrument fédérateur des peuples nomades.
Musique ancestrale et fédératrice des peuples nomades, le Tendé est joué pour se divertir mais sert aussi à renforcer la cohésion entre les populations lors des retrouvailles, mariages ou baptêmes.
La fabrication de cet instrument traditionnel se fait avec des objets utilisés dans le ménage. « Le Tendé, comme son nom l’indique en Tamasheq, c’est un objet utilitaire, un mortier traditionnel fabriqué par des artisans pour faire face au besoin de moudre le grain. C’est cet objet-là dont on recouvre l’orifice avec une peau tannée. Ensuite, on met de chaque côté, de gros bâtons sur lesquels on s’assoit après l’avoir bien attaché et relié.
Au-délà du son, le Tendé a une signification profonde pour les nomades. Pour Abou, homme de culture, cet instrument ancestral est comme « un excitant pour les Touaregs ». Selon lui, le Tendé « revêt une importance particulière, il fait appel à l’intégrité, à la réserve qu’on et amène la personne, en tout cas, les Touaregs à éviter un comportement négatif ».

C’est le même rythme que celui du tendé, alors là, ce n’est plus les hommes qui dansent mais c’est les chameaux. On fait danser les chameaux entraînés pour la circonstance.
