AUTUMN YOGA RESPIRATION FOR MORNING AND EVENING ROUTINE
RESPIRATION TECHNIQUE: SURYA CHANDRA PRĀṆĀYĀMA
THE BREATH OF THE SUN AND THE MOON
This breath calms the body and mind, balances the right and left brain hemispheres, connects the left and right hemispheres, balances the blood PH, and relieves headaches, nausea, and fatigue.
Put Essential Oils in the diffuser: Protective Blend (morning routine) Sandalwood, Myrrh (evening routine)
Execution:
- Sit in a comfortable position where the back can be kept straight, with the
arms relaxed.
- Bring your right hand to your face by placing the index and middle fingers
between the eyebrows. Use the other fingers to open and alternatively close
the nostrils.
- Inhale with right nostril and exhale with the left nostril, inhale with left
nostril and exhale with the right.
- Inhale with right nostril and exhale with the left nostril, inhale with left
nostril and exhale with the right.
- Start again by inhaling from the right and so on.
- Repeat for 5 minutes or 3 series.
