The Captain and Half Dome, United States Half Dome, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world It is located in the Yosemite Valley, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada of California, to the west of the country. It is the destination of choice for lovers of climbing in North America. In this mountain different routes have been opened, some of which run between precipices of 900 meters of height. The Captain receives thousands of visitors a year, attracted by its granite walls among meadows, forests and waterfalls. The first time they climbed it, in 1958, it took them 47 days to complete the crossing.
