SOPRAVVISSUTO ALL’ OLOCAUSTO In July 2014 I met a 99-year old man who was a holocaust survivor. His name is Solomon Sperling, residing in a nursing home in NSW, Australia. We easily became friends and visited him several times. It was so exciting for me to meet such an old man and also a survivor of one of the darkest moments of world history. Perhaps because of his age and what he went through, I felt in my heart that I needed to tell him about my Savior. Jews are known to have rejected Jesus as their messiah and it appeared to be crazy on my part to say something about the person they have rejected as a nation. But what was amazing during my last visit, he suddenly exclaimed, "I believe in Jesus!". Whether you're religious or not, for this old man to suddenly believe is nothing short of a miracle. He passed away peacefully 3 years after... I will see you someday my dear friend. Goodbye for now :)
