Ostuni "The White City", Puglia, Italy
According to tradition the name of Ostuni comes from the Greek "Astu-neon", which means new city. It was probably built about two thousand years ago on the remains of an older city during the first and second centuries AD.
Secondo la tradizione il nome di Ostuni viene dal greco "Astu-neon", che significa città nuova. Fu costruita con ogni probabilità circa duemila anni fa sui resti di una città più antica durante il I e II secolo DC.
