Adams stated this during an address to a mammoth crowd consisting of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) members, Osun adherents and other traditional worshippers who came to celebrate the 2019 Osun Osogbo festival, Vanguard reports. Adams pointed out that defending and protecting the Yoruba people against criminality is his duty as the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land. He said: “As the generalissimo of Yoruba land, my duty among others is to ensure that Yoruba people are protected against any forces.
