Chakhchoukha or rougueg (in the West), is a commonly Algerian culinary claim to fame. It is found in an enormous piece of focal, southern and eastern Algeria and all through the local Aurès. From the Berber chakhchakh, which signifies "disintegrate", the term chakhchoukha has a few spellings.
