On Cam.TV you will not find the "Like" button, we have the "Support" button.

Every time you use the "Support" button you are sending 1LKS coin to the person who made the post.
Similarly, every time a user supports one or more of your posts they are sending you LKS coins.
Unlike the "like" button you can use the "Support" button several times under a single post.

Giving more likes under a single post is better because:

• it increases your earnings
• it helps Cam.TV algorithm to determine the quality of posts more accurately.

Earn LKS coins for free

Each user can donate 1 LKS coin every 10 minutes for free!

How do I get Subscribers/Affiliates?

You don't need to send out weird invitations. Rather instead you go straight from your content.

There are 2 ways:

• Direct link: You can send your friends your affiliate link. It's a link of this kind: ctv.im/R264F1 that will instantly redirect your friends to the "standard" Cam.TV home page (www.cam.tv). When someone registers with it, Cam.TV will associate the new subscriber as your affiliate, automatically.

• Indirectly: through your content. If an unregistered user clicks on the "Subscribe" button while browsing your channel or reading one of your contents, Cam.TV will automatically associate him/her as one of your affiliates. I've been using Cam.TV for 2 years and I've often missed news because there have been communication problems. Communication is often scattered between newsletters, telegram groups and facebook, while the official channels "Cam.TV Official" and "Cam.TV Creators" on the platform were born late and are still difficult to "discover". Other times the news were given in the live broadcasts but no written articles were made.

2) Visibility of Affiliates

It is no longer possible to see a summary of how many people are our affiliates and who they are.

3) Privacy?

Cam.TV uses blockchain technology, so all the data on the platform should be safer than the classic solutions with centralized servers. I would like to understand what data is stored on the blockchain and what data must be centralized.

Another point to stay on topic. To certify your account Cam.TV requires personal data that I personally do not find strictly necessary. But since on Cam.TV you have to deal with transactions anyway, I guess it was done to avoid misuse of the platform. However, it must be said that personal data are always at hand and editable with a click. (section "Profile").

4) Environmental Impact

The environmental impact of a blockchain-based solution is greater than that of a centralized solution.

Comparatives

• CamTV vs Facebook: Facebook doesn't allow nicely formatted and complex post with images and buttons.
• CamTV vs Instagram: Cam has higher image quality and unlike the Instagram feed algorithm (that prefers creators that publish everyday), it rewards posts that are truly great.
• CamTV vs Patreon and similar: Patreon users must recharge their credit card to donate to creators, each CamTV user can donate 1 LKS coin every minute).
• CamTV vs Udemy and similar: on Udemy you can get a free preview of a video course, on Cam you can get free content, free previews, paid content for everyone, and paid content for "patreons"
• CamTV vs a Blog: CamTV will show up on the top search engines, your blog will remain unforgotten somewhere, unless you spend time or pay someone to get a better indexing.
