We’re continually bombed by images. We’re so massively stressed, that we’re no longer able to evaluate the impact and profound influence that all this has on us.

Yet, an image is said to be worth a thousand words.

Each object speaks to us so clearly that it deeply influences both our physical and energetic bodies.

A beautiful landscape reconciles us with life. It relaxes us, awakening our sense of belonging to a greater Whole. And it offers us the right messages allowing us to find the right goals and directions.

This occurs because both in natural landscapes, as well as in many wonderful human artifacts, we perceive grace, balance and harmony.

And that is… As outside, so inside!  Being in contact with specific visions helps us to put order within. It awakens our natural sense of gratitude. And, furthermore, any gift of beauty touches us so deeply that we cannot do anything but open our hearts. And perceive the noble intent of those who created so much gracefulness... Either would it be Mother Nature, or an architect or a painter or a craftsman.

In the same way, we are also very deeply conditioned when we find ourselves immersed in the urban ugliness of the soulless suburbs, or facing any horrendous industrial area that depresses us more and more, without even realizing it. And this happens daily for most of us… going to work or shopping, because we cannot avoid crossing these kinds of areas.

And so, the message we receive is exactly the opposite. It creates interior tensions and contractions. We feel us under attack and full of anger, thinking about how beautiful those places could have been and how instead we've been able to make them so horrible.

The ugly and unadorned barracks of public housing, and the anonymous and all identical factories, do not speak to us about balance and grace, but about selfishness and instrumental interests. About the logic of power and profit, that prevails over any other consideration.

But which impact could it have on us and on our life and pro-activity to succeed becoming observers aware of the reality surrounding us? Which inner price do we pay for our aesthetic ignorance? How much everything that unconsciously enters through our eyes, conditions us without our aware acknowledgement?

By my side, I repeatedly feel the need for beauty in my life, in any small everyday gestures and in everything I create or plan to achieve.

And since behind every creation there is a clear and well-defined intent, nothing that comes out of my laboratory is accidental. Each object chosen or created... each color, each shape, each number represented aims to create a unique combination with a very specific purpose.

In the second part of this article, I will talk to you, therefore, about the symbolic combination of colors, shapes and numbers contained in one of the complements that I thought of and decorated.
