Delta del Orinoco National Park (Delta Amacuro) One of the most incredible scenarios in our country is the mouth of the Orinoco River to the Atlantic Ocean, in a lot of pipes (or deltas) that create an impressive geometry. The only inhabitants of this area are the Waraos or "beings of the waters", who live in palafitos on the banks of the Orinoco River. Arriving is a bit complicated, unless you hire a tour in curiara from the port of Tucupita, the state capital.
