Be the person that you want to be

Many of us regret our old hairstyle or are simply curious about what our life would be like today if baldness hadn't arrived.

The topic of "hair transplantation" has become popular around the world, when you go to the hairdresser or barber, whether he is or even among friends at the bar, some more or less skeptical. Well... I threw myself down and did it.

I am a guy from 1988, I have lived my life to the fullest and I must say that my hair has given me so much satisfaction. At the age of 25 I started to loose my hair, I think for genetic reasons, at the age of 30 I took the step, obviously after a lot of research on the subject. I've done enough research to make a culture out of it. I didn't undergo a transplant but two hair transplants within a year, in the best clinics in Istanbul. The first with a "F.U.E." technique, the second with a "Micro F.U.E." technique with a sapphire tip which is one of the most renewed existing techniques which I have completed with the final result.

In conclusion, you can see the result directly on the photos or go to the "video" section and you will find my experience in details.

F.U.E. technique

Hair transplantation with the F.U.E. technique consists of autologous hair transplantation, the hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor side (nape of the neck), using a special tool (pencil) and are implanted directly into the part to be thickened. This method is based on the extraction of hair follicles from areas called donor areas, which are resistant to factors that cause hair loss that are transferred to areas of light hair or baldness with special tools so that they do not leave lines or scars, not like in the old methods used where hair transplantation involves the removal of a part of the scalp followed by bandages and surgical threads that have left painful scars. This technique is considered painless and total healing occurs after 7-8 days of hair transplantation.

The 7 stages of transplantation:

1. Examination: This is the phase in which the doctor develops the patient's operational plan and creates the design of the hairline.

2. Preparation: This phase includes the sterilization processes of the intervention site and the application of local anesthetics.

3. Extraction: The process of extracting the follicles from the donor area of the patient.

4. Incisions: this is the process of creating the grafts, the incisions will be made following the direction of the existing hair.

5. Transplantation: this is the process of positioning the grafts in the receiving sites with the correct angle with respect to the direction of the hair.

6. Postoperative processes: This phase includes dressing processes and PRP treatment to accelerate the healing process of the implanted area.

7. Postoperative care and hair washing: this is the washing process that must be performed for 15 days. Both the donor area and the transplanted area will be sensitive during this period, so it is important to wash with the utmost care.

Proportionately to the number of grafts required for the type of baldness, the duration of the operation varies on average from 4 to 6 hours.

The appearance of crust at the base of the transplanted bulbs is a natural course, within a few days they will fall out of the sun. After 24 hours the patient will be able to return to his normal working activities.

Hair transplants can look more natural and dense.

It is a permanent solution for the treatment of hair loss.

It is a comfortable technique designed to provide patients with the minimum amount of discomfort, without leaving external scars after the procedure.

The F.U.E. hair transplant technique offers patients faster recovery times; they can comfortably return to their daily routine and are able to travel the day after surgery.

With the correct surgery plan, no damage will be caused in the donor area and no change in appearance will be visible even after multiple operations.

98% of the grafts will grow like normal hair.

"Micro F.U.E." technique

Hair transplantation with the "Micro F.U.E." technique is now considered the most technically advanced by the many specialists in the world. It is essentially a refinement of the most famous and widespread F.U.E. technique, thanks to the use of even more precise and effective tools.

The "Micro F.U.E." method consists in extracting individual follicles from the donor areas, rich in hair, and then grafting them into the bald parts of the scalp. This technique ensures a long-lasting result, acceptable both aesthetically and clinically, with minimal discomfort to the patient and very short recovery times.

Thanks to this method it is also easier to organize the transplantation of more hair in less time: it is estimated that a single operation allows to implant between 3000 and 5000 follicles.

The "Micro F.U.E." technique involves a series of steps that an experienced and qualified surgeon should always follow. First of all, the areas to be transplanted, so the area from which the follicular units will be taken and the area on which the hair is to be grafted, must be circumscribed. The availability of follicles in the donor area should be carefully assessed and the number of grafts to be made determined. Once the area has been anaesthetised at a local level, the actual operation is carried out. The follicular units must be taken individually and in such a way that they are not damaged: it is often chosen to divide them according to the number of bulbs contained within them. Once extracted, the follicles are immediately immersed in a solution that, at a controlled temperature, preserves them until the moment of implantation. One of the most delicate phases of "Micro F.U.E." transplantation is the one during which the incisions are made in which the follicular units will be grafted: the ability of the surgeon to create a good density of incisions, to recreate a natural aesthetic effect, is decisive. The last step is obviously the grafting of the follicles: on one hand, the attention to insert the hair correctly into the incisions previously created must be combined with the speed of execution.

However, this is still a surgical operation and that baldness is a problem that manifests itself differently in every patient: your first step for the  leads to hair transplantation must be always a  consultation by a specialist.
