Forget about Jesus, revealing the ultimate identity of Christmas

2018-12-24 18:19:04

Lights, trees, holidays, gift exchanges, fake Santas and songs. The Christmas Eve atmosphere looks brighter every season, heading toward a consumerism that affects us all. But, what remains at the end of this so called religious celebration? And when we talk about this peculiar religious event we’re not referring to it as the fairy tale of Joseph and Mary that nestled in a cave in Bethlehem and gave birth to the Son of God. Here we’ll talk about ancient astronomical tradition of that moment of the year that all of us refer to as Christmas. Let’s take a step backward to the ancient Egyptians, they worshiped Horus, the Sun God that, according to them, fought an endless battle against Seth (God of Darkness “Sun-set”). Horus, from which comes the word Horizon (Horus has risen) is born on 25 december and his birth was accompanied by an eastern star, followed by the greatest pharaohs to bring him gifts. Does that look familiar to you? Horus was baptized at the age of 30 and had twelve disciples. He was betrayed by Typhon and crucified, barried for 3 days and resurrected. But we’re not in the Palestine of Roman-dominance 2016 years ago, but in Egypt 3000 years before Jesuses birth. And the coincidences goes on. Attis, the Phrygian God was born on 25 december by a virgin and either crucified and resurrected. Krishna, God of India, born at the same day, followed by a star and has the same identical fate as Dyonisus, the Greek God. You can search even for the birthday of Buddha, Prometheus and hundreds of hundreds of other deities. What really ties together these religions or pagan beliefs has a total astronomical origin. The fact that in 24 of december the eastern star (known as Sirius) the brightest one perfectly aligns with the Orion’s belt. These three stars still nowadays are labeled as the “Three Kings”. If we draw an imaginary line at the night of 24, combining the three stars with Sirius this line would touch the skyline at the same point when at 25 december the Sun, our God, will raise. What does it mean? Its obvious, the three kings follows the eastern star that would bring them toward the location where God will be born. In 22 december - the day of the winter solstice - in the north hemisphere the sun, after its displacement toward south for six months, reaches the lowest point in the horizon where will reside for three days in a row. And during those days the sun will stay in proximity of a peculiar constellation, named as the Southern Cross.
