The long-awaited sequel, this time the final part of Stieg Larsson's crime novel "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", the last 3 episodes of which have been written by a new writer, is now out and I'm currently listening to it in audio.

Since Stieg Larsson died after writing this trilogy, another writer continued and wrote 3 more parts to the book, the latest of which is now published in 2019 and was immediately translated from swedish in other languages. In my opinion, both authors are really good and their style is very similar.

While so far I've only covered self-development books in this blog, this time it's a crime novel, that everyone has certainly heard of and most already read it too.

I have been waiting since reading the previous part for the next one to come out, because the book is exciting and I find it very psychological. And psychological books and movies have always been interesting for me.

The main character's strong nature and the relationships between several other characters are well thought through and work just as well or even better than reading books about psychology.

Based on these book series have been made movies in both Sweden and Hollywood. I have seen the last one and for me it did not give any comparison with the book. The film did not exactly reflect the events of the book, and if I had not read it before, I would not have understood much. The choice of actors wasn't exactly the best for me either. But the Swedish version of the film is more praised. I will definitely check it out sometime.

If there is anyone, who does not know, what the book is about, the main characters are a girl with very intriguing introverted nature and photographic memory, who works as a freelance computer hacker, and then a famous journalist who, with his self-confidence, is a magnet for many women. Together, they investigate various unsolved murder stories while also fighting the girl's mysterious past.

I recommend reading for those, who are looking for excitement in the book.
