The book was published in english 2017 "The State of Affairs" and I listened it in audio.

For nearly 30 years, the author has delved into the intricate details of couples' love relationships and passion as a therapist, writer, trainer and lecturer. When she explored erotic passion in long-term relationships in her first book, every time she appeared anywhere in the world, she was surprised, that the main topic of peoples interest was infidelity. So in this book, the author is following the journey of passion in a situation, where people are looking for passion elsewhere than in their relationship or marriage.

In the book, the writer outlines different problems related to infidelity experienced by many couples and shows us how different people see cheating and what different people in different countries consider to be cheating, and dissects several relationship problems, that can be the cause of cheating.

It also helps us get to know ourselves better and understand the others.

For many people, side relationships start unexpectedly and after a life crisis, such as the loss of a loved one or loss of a job. People themselves explain cheating by the fact, that such an exciting love affair makes them feel alive.

At receptions, the writer and therapist teaches couples how to re-ignite passion in couples, who have lost their spark, how to turn critical notes into prayers and frustrations into feedback, how to be frank with a partner. Once these nodes have been untangled, the couple can learn to use imagination to develop pleasures, unleash their playfulness, and learn to create anticipation and mystery.

In addition, the book talks about the different kinds of relationships, that are emerging today, which are very different and unusual.

Fraudulence can destroy a relationship, maintain it, force a relationship to change, or create a new relationship. Each cheating redefines the relationship, and each relationship itself decides, what the legacy of cheating will be.

The book is quite voluminous and tells many different stories. I listened to it myself in audio because I run at the same time.
