Do you see yourself through a snow globe...
...or a crystal ball?
I have just passed through a vintage shop, one of the many that with the collaboration of the nice weather are setting stands outside. I did not intend to stop but I was attracted by its shiny objects, including beautiful snow globes and crystal balls. And here’s how I gained an insight into the way I see myself!
A snow globe provides you with a miniaturised scene of some sort, that is then covered by the snowflakes, making you feel a nostalgic wave for the past. A crystal globe, instead, is an empty space, where you can tap into your imagination and creativity to give life to a brand-new scene, which is rather a future-oriented process.
At the beginning my attention was captured by a snow globe where a little girl with red gloves was hugging a dog in the countryside. After all that scene was covered by snow, I grabbed a middle-sized crystal ball which just showed me a glimpse of my eyes, looking quite big. And I saw power, choice and vitality.
If a crystal ball could show you the truth about yourself, what it would be?
