More Power to Your Images: Links and Attributes
This new function allows you to transform article pictures into links and to give them a title and a description. Optimise your content even more for search engines!
There are 3 new built-in features that you can use when you decide to add an image to an article. Here you can find out how you can take advantage of them.
The image also becomes a link
You can turn the image into a link to other external sites or channels. You just need to enter a valid URL. You can thus link related resources and make them easily accessible to your visitors. The user will only need one click to reach that resource.
Tip: Use ithis feature also to link other articles from your channels!
Title attribute
By completing this field you can help understand the image and its meaning within the article. Just assign a title to the image, no longer than 125 characters, to see it appear when you hover over it.
Alt attribute
This attribute has 2 fundamental functions:
It is the alternative text that appears if the image is not loaded correctly and at the same time represents the information that screen-readers (automatic screen readers) use to describe images to visually impaired users.
One more tip: A correct description will help SEO optimization of the article and therefore will help indexing content on search engines.
