How to Make Private a Video Uploaded on Cam.TV

This feature enables you to have at your disposal all the videos that you need so that you can easily add them to your articles at the moment of publication. This function is very practical especially for paid content: uploading "private" videos makes them inaccessible to other users until they purchase the article in which they are inserted. 

This new feature is available in 2 different sections.

1) CREATING AN ARTICLE

When you are drafting an article, click on Add Video and then on Create Video.

A window to choose and upload videos will pop up. 

When the upload has completed, it is necessary to write a title and an introduction. At this point the "Save" button will be enabled. If you want the video to be visible only to you, select "Make this video private" below. Then click "Save". The writing "Upload in progress" will now appear. 

At the end of the process, your video will be saved in the Video section of your channel and will be visible only to you. Here, by clicking on the three dots menu, you will be able to hide, share or modify it.

 You can then save or delete the draft of the article, but the video will remain in your library ready to be used at any time.

At the same time you will receive an email informing you that the video has been successfully uploaded to Cam.TV.

When you prepare a new article, after selecting "Add Video", you will find all your previously uploaded videos, in the drop-down menu under "Select one of your videos".

2) VIDEOS OF THE CHANNEL 

It is possible to upload all the videos you want directly from the "Video" section of your channel.

Go the "Video" section, then simply click on "Create Video" and repeat the procedure described above. While the video is being uploaded, you can continue to use the platform.

At the end of the upload, a notification (a green cloud) will appear on the top bar.
