CLARIFICATION AND DETAILS ON THE SALES REGULATION
We realized that our notice regarding the new sales regulation has caused some confusion and with this article we would like to give some further explanation
The main issue is:
USERS CAN PUBLISH VIDEOS AND ARTICLES WITH A FEE, EXCLUSIVELY TO SELL THEIR OWN MULTIMEDIA CONTENT AND NOT GOODS OR ITEMS.
Last Saturday we updated the tax procedures of the platform according to the latest legal regulations, introducing an automated service for the creation of tax records related to transactions carried out on the platform.
This service helps to protect Cam.TV and its users legally and from the taxation point of view, and above all, relieve the users from the onerous task of generating receipts and calculating withholding tax.
If before, users were allowed to use the platform's publishing tools to sell, not only infoproducts but also, improperly, "physical" material goods, now this is no longer possible. The reason is because the administration department of Cam.TV issues the invoices for its users and this can not happen if the products sold are goods or items, since they do not go through the platform (what instead the infoproducts do). Furthermore, in these cases Cam.TV cannot guarantee the compliance, legality and accuracy of the sale.
For this reason it is no longer allowed to sell products but only multimedia content.
WE ARE CURRENTLY DEVELOPING A NEW E-COMMERCE FUNCTIONALITY
As previously announced, we would like to reassure all users that our devolepers are studying a new dedicated tool that will enable everybody to use the platform for the direct sale of goods and items, and will allow the seller to take all the responsabilities related to the sale.
This feature will not be available straight away but we assure all interested users that our team is working very hard for it.
Obviously, sales performed with these publishing tools, before the introduction of the latest news regarding the management of the bureaucratic matters, are not affected from this regulation.
At the moment (but not for long) those who wish to use Cam.TV to sell products can use their channels to promote and advertise them but they have to link it to an external page to carry out the transaction.
