Eat 4 meals a day (including afternoon tea), if possible with the family.
Eat slowly, chewing well.
Do not eat in front of the television.
Drink water at the table.
Avoid fat:
- cook without fat;
- watch out for the crème fraîche and mayonnaise;
- avoid dishes in sauce or store-bought ready-made meals;
- limit the consumption of cold meats, pastries, fried foods, milk and whole dairy products…;
- limit cheeses.
Systematically start the meal with vegetables.
Usually end the meal with a piece of fruit.
Avoid snacking.
Limit sugary drinks.
Balance meals at home over the day to offset mistakes made outside.
Shopping with a list established in advance.
Not too many temptations at home.
Fight against sedentary lifestyle
Limit television or video games to 2 or 3 hours per day.
Several times a week walk for more than ½ hour.
Rollerblading or scootering or swimming at least once a week.
Practice at least one sport regularly.
Play outside if possible.
Take a family walk on weekends.
