Sigiswald Kuijken & Marie Kuijken Perform Mozart

Since I have begun with live-streamed concerts from my home in Italy, I have already realized two solo programs.
For this NEW SERIES, my eminent father Sigiswald Kuijken, who can truly be considered as the first baroque violinist, is granting his collaboration for the third and fourth concerts. He traveled all the way from Belgium to central Italy to record sonatas by Mozart with me (one of his daughters) in live streaming from my home. 
It has been gratifying and pure joy for both to play together again, after the many cancelled Mozart-concerts we should have played in 2020!!
Therefore, my profound gratefulness goes to Sigiswald, and... of course to Mozart himself! Our aim is to go on with this series in the future, streaming more sonatas for violin and fortepiano from my home.

It is "musical heaven"  to play together with my eminent father. We really share one musical soul... Sigiswald Kuijken is a well-known authority in baroque violin, and the charismatic leader of the fine baroque orchestra La Petite Bande. Since more than 50 years he's been a pioneer in authentic performance practice of baroque and classical music. It’s thanks to being born in this highly artistic entourage that I have been challenged to mature my own musical truths.
