Classical music from my home
My story?
Who am I? Wrong question.. How did I become who I am today -- and more importantly: who am I becoming from here? What is the world I am creating in myself?
Artistical family backgrounds and development of my own talents have grown me into who I am now: an 18th-century-opera stage director, a mozartian fortepianist, and a singer-actress.
Using historically informed scenic & declamatory performing art, both as a singer-actress myself, as a stagedirector or as coach for professional singers, I LOVE going into the depths of both score and libretto and getting expressed intensely whatever was lied in the piece!
As a pianist I specialised in mozartian fortepiano playing, having fallen in love with the Stein fortepiano, and I let the instrument guide my hands.
The period where I feel mostly at home is 1750-1830: Goethe, Mozart, Schubert, Napoleon all lived in this period, which was one of big transformations, as is our time!
