Sigiswald Kuijken (baroque violin) & Marie Kuijken (fortepiano) perform Mozart -- Part One
Coming soon: Two delightfull home-streamed concerts where I play together with my father Sigiswald Kuijken. He is a well-known authority in baroque violin and the charismatic leader of the fine baroque orchestra La Petite Bande, and has been a pioneer in authentic performance practice of baroque and classical music since more than 50 years.
I am very happy to propose these live-stream concerts with him, playing Mozart's sonatas for violon and fortepiano, which we ave performed many times in concert during the years. It is marvelous to play together with him, as we share the same musical soul...
Even his Grancino violin and my copy of Stein fortepiano know each other well, and they sound perfectly together, giving you the experience of the real 18th century sounds Mozart was composing for, and the musical style of playing these instruments are asking for.
