La prima volta che ho assistito ai festeggiamenti del Capodanno Cinese è stato durante il mio anno in Australia, in quel periodo vivevo a Sydney.
Data l'importante comunità cinese presente in città, ho avuto la fortuna di partecipare a un grande evento che attira ogni volta migliaia di spettatori nel cuore del quartiere di China Town. Una fantastica e coloratissima parata di carri di lanterne cinesi e non, sfila lungo tutta la via principale accompagnata dai fuochi artificiali e terminando a Tumbalong Park.
All'ora fu l'anno della Capra, ieri è iniziato l'anno del Topo.

The first time I attended the Chinese New Year celebrations was during my year in Australia, at that time I was living in Sydney.
Given the important Chinese community present in the city, I was really lucky to participate in a great event that attracts thousands of spectators every time in the heart of the China Town district. An amazing and colorful parade of Chinese lanterns and other wagons cross the main street accompanied by fireworks and ending at Tumbalong Park.
At the time it was the year of the Goat, today starts the year of the Mouse.
