Why it is important to backup your Eidoo wallet!

In this article we will you will find out what type of wallet is Eidoo and why it is important to back it up as soon as possible.
Eidoo Wallet is a Non-custodian wallet. This means that we do not store your password or your Backup Phrase on any server, but it also means there is no way for us to reset your password or help you recover your Backup Phrase.
The Backup Phrase is a mnemonic passphrase made up of 12 words.
It acts as a backup, ensuring that you can always access your funds.
In the event that you forget your password or lose your device, your Backup Phrase is the only way you can Restore the wallet and retrieve access to your funds.
Please write down and keep your Backup Phrase safe. Also please pay attention to the order of the words. When you Restore your wallet you will be asked to enter your Backup Phrase, the 12 words, in the order they were given to you, divided by a single space " ".
