Battlefield 1 - Storm of Steel

Here I am back to the FPS genre with a masterpiece from 2016.

This shooter game has been so successful over the years that has recently re-entered in the top 10 of the most sold games on Steam...... 6 YEARS after its first release!

This is also thanks to the most recent title, Battlefield 2042, wich was not well received from the public... at all. This pushed most passionate players from the Battlefield series back to Battlefield 1, hence the big rise in popularity lately alongside the fact that it is of course a great game to begin with.

Talking about the game itself tho, it is actually centered around World War 1, so you can expect all the classic FPS components based on the era in which the game is set.

I am talking of course lots of old-school firearms, the first planes and tanks models ever used in war, missions set in very different locations between each other with various objectives alongside the usual "stay alive" theme and of course... shooting, shooting and more shooting.

The most interesting fact about the game's single player mode has to be the fact that it is not a linear story nor is focused on a singular soldier, instead Battlefield 1 decides to tell several tales from different story arcs where and the player gets to impersonate several soldiers from different nations and has the chance to see the Great War from different prespectives.

Another great aspect of the campaign missions is that the player is often given the choice to complete some missions' objectives in the way he wants, playing stealthy, going for an all out assault, using traps and more. All this plays a big role in giving Battlefield 1 replayability.

Aside from the single player mode Battlefield 1 also features a very refined multiplayer PVP mode that will entertain the most competitive players for long hours for sure.
