Pizza recipe

Hi together ,It's my first writing here on cam.tv and I wanted to begin with a delicious post in my new Blog: A recipe! I want to share my personal recipes and share some interesting facts about food. Maybe it gives you a hint for your personal recipes too. I hope you enjoy! :)

Pizza recipe

(For 3 persons)

Ingredients for the dough:

400gr of flour (Wheat flour is good)

1 Teaspoon of salt

2 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

15gr yeast

2 1/2dl water

Dough preparation:

Take the yeast and salt and put it into the tempered-water and mix it until the yeast is dissolved. Take the flour and put it in a bowl or alternatively, prepare on a clean table the flour forming and form a «crater» in the middle of the flour. It’s easier with a bowl. Put some water in the middle of the flour and begin to knead until the dough becomes thicker, then introduce the 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in it and continue to knead. The dough becomes thick and smooth on the surface. Now take the dough and put it in a bowl as well as if you began to knead on the table. Let the dough rise for 1-2 hours or until the dough mass approximately doubles in size.

After the dough has reached the double size, take the dough, add some flour on it and begin to knead a little until the dough doesn’t stick on the table anymore. Don’t add too much flour, the dough must be soft and it should be still possible to roll out the dough in an easy way.

After that, take the a half of the dough and begin to roll it out with a rolling pin to a thickness between 2-4 millimeters. Take the the rolled out dough and set it on a baking tin.

Topping the pizza:

Now it is turn of the easiest step, the topping part :)

Put a little salt in the tomato sauce if needed. Put a little quantity of thyme in the sauce and mix it.

First of all, spread the tomato sauce equally over the dough. After that, put the topping you prefer (e.g. salami, ham, champignons mushrooms, artichokes, pepperoni, chilli and so on) and some extra virgin olive oil. If you wish stringy mozzarella on your pizza, put the mozzarella as last topping on it. If mozzarella isn’t available, use cheese.

Bake:

Prepare the oven before and set the temperature to 200-220°c. Bake the pizza middle oven until the underside and topside of the dough is well baked: not too hard like a cookie :) With a thin dough, the pizza bake time is fast. Otherwise, if you like more thicker dough on your pizza, it takes a little bit longer to bake. The pizza should be crunchy and at the same time it should be soft.
