Tomato Sauce
Preparation Time: 50 Minutes.
Yield: 4 Portions.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 kg of ripe tomato (débora or Italian) halved without seed;
- 6 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1 small onion, finely chopped;
- 2 cloves garlic;
- 1 pinch of cumin Basil leaves to taste;
- Salt to taste.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
In a pan, place 2 kg of ripe tomatoes without seeds and leave to soften.
Then pass it through the vegetable sieve or in a sieve.
Heat 6 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté 1 small chopped onion, 2 crushed garlic cloves.
Add the processed tomatoes and a pinch of cumin.
Cook for 15 min over low heat.
Adjust the salt and finish with basil leaves to taste.
