Shrimp 'Bobó' - Brazilian Recipe


Preparation Time: 60 Minutes

Yield: 6 servings



INGREDIENTS


- 1 kg fresh shrimp salt

- 3 cloves garlic, minced and crushed

- 1 lemon juice

- Black pepper

- 1 kg cassava (prefer the ones that are already packaged and peeled, it is more practical)

- 3 onions (1 cut into slices and 2 grated)

- 1 bay leaf

- 6 tablespoons olive oil

- 2 glasses of coconut milk

- 1 packet of chopped green scent

- 2 cans of tomato sauce ready (pomarola)

- 2 finely chopped green peppers

- 2 tablespoons olive oil


METHOD OF PREPARATION


Wash the prawns and season with salt, garlic, pepper and lemon, marinate. Take a pan with water and cook the cassava in small pieces, with bay leaf and onion in slices. When soft, add a glass of coconut milk. Let it cool down a bit and whisk in the blender. Heat the olive oil, add the grated onion and let it brown. Add shrimp and fry. Add the 2 cans of pomarola, the scent-green, the chili and cook for a few minutes. Add in the same pan, the manioc beaten in the blender, another glass of coconut milk and the palm oil. Let it boil and it's ready.
